       Keep improving the approach more automatic with quality and efficiency such as developing the auto-script to build-up the comprehensive test scenarios to improve the troubleshooting process quality.
       Develop the smart monitor systems to auto-detect, diagnose and recover the systems
   Requirements
       Bachelor's degree in related IT field, such as computer science, MIS, mechanical or electrical engineering, to include work experience background as below.
       Good concept of software engineering and product life cycle management
       Strong development skills in languages such as Python, Go or Node.js

Role
       As a Quality Management Engineer at tsmc Arizona site, you will co-work with Taiwan Central quality team to support tsmc quality mission by leading and inspiring world-class quality systems. Your primary responsibility will be establishing quality systems, collaborate with process integration, Fab engineering, manufacturing teams, incoming material and site QA teams to achieve quality KPI requirements to ensure the highest quality of product.
   Responsibility

Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

       Drive global compliance to manufacturing quality standards and success of fab quality system certifications.
       Providing quality guidance to ensure product success at launch and throughout high volume technology ramp.
       Monitoring, analysis of the wafer fabrication process, equipment parameters, manufacturing, factory facilities, and incoming material react to wafer quality indicators and quality events.
       Applying statistics process control methods to establish and sustain a robust manufacturing process control. Standardizing, and documenting control models and methodologies.
       Predictive analytics and statistical applications including modeling, machine learning, data science, process control methods, and developing and implementing methods for specialized applications.
   Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

       B.S. or higher in Mathematics, Statistical, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics field.
       Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and development, 300mm/22nm technology below is better.
       Understanding of the Fab Processes and Flow.
       Comfortable with multi-tasking and analytical skills.

Preferred qualifications:

       Lean, 6Sigma, statistical training, and robust data analysis skills.
       Experience with SPC, statistical analysis packages, statistical modeling, feature extraction, data mining, machine learning, and other advanced analytical methods.
       Fluency in Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Tableau to programming and visualize data.
       Fluent in English speaking and writing, conversational Mandarin (desirable).
   Personal Attributes
       Be able to balance the business need of the factory with maintaining QUALITY.
       Must be willing to relocate to Taiwan for extended period for training.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Performing preventive maintenance activities on state-of-the-art 300mm semiconductor equipment in cleanroom environment.

  • Reviewing Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts for process quality and conducting defect troubleshooting.
  • Sustaining and improving spare parts management system and be responsible for full life-cycle of spare parts.

  • Performing activities in a safe and responsible manner and supporting Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Responsibilities:

As a Manufacturing Specialist, you will be:

   Working in our Manufacturing Command Center (MCC) using intelligent systems to drive the automated activities on the production floor.
   Some duties require working in our clean room environment, where you will wear a clean room garment (protective eyewear, gloves, a hood, and a mask) to protect the wafers from outside particles. 
   Learn and become familiar with manufacturing/engineering process and stay informed of any changes in procedures.
   Work with supporting module on actions to bring the process/tools back to baseline.
   Able to handle time sensitive material in a safe and efficient manner
   Ability to perform various tasks in a disciplined manner in accordance with SOPs (Standard Operation Procedure), and report problems to supervisors. Assist in creating training or SOP documents.
   Monitor different integrated systems to ensure the automated tools are running properly and assisting in handling of abnormal events that occur in production.
   Train new members to the team once skill level reach a certain level in the team
   Regular attendance and reliability for this position is critical

Shift expectations

   TSMC Arizona operates 24/7, 365 days a year. This position requires candidate to have ability and willingness to work any shift (day or night) in a compressed work week schedule once training is done. The compressed work week shift structure is Work 4 days on, 3 days off for one week and 3 days on, 4 days off the next week. Shift is 12 hour shifts from 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am. Note: Training period schedule for the first few months can vary in schedule based on available training resources.

Candidates must be willing and able to work on-site at our Phoenix Arizona facility.
